The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable, offering

plenty of amenities such as a fridge, dishwasher, and even a small sofa. The staff was attentive, ensuring we were moved to a larger unit promptly. However, housekeeping missed cleaning our room one day, which was a minor inconvenience.

Arrived to a mix-up at check-in, but the staff diligently found a spacious room that exceeded our expectations. Friendly faces and a comfy setup made our stay enjoyable.

However, the loud party in the common area late at night disrupted our sleep. The hotel's quiet policy wasn’t enforced, leading to an uncomfortable end to our stay.

The hotel was clean, comfy and the staff was super friendly. We explored nearby attractions and enjoyed the minimal breakfast, which was still good. Definitely a great choice for groups!

Some guests showed up in PJs for breakfast, which was a little off-putting. It would be nice if the hotel had a dress code for dining areas.

The Comfort Inn & Suites Ankeny, Des Moines was beautifully decorated and very accessible. I appreciated the clean, spacious areas that made moving around easy, even for us seniors. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, enhancing our stay.

More seating in common areas would be helpful.

i had a great stay at comfort inn! it’s super close to the high trestle trail, which made my ride convenient. the hotel was very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I also loved the breakfast buffet. it was quite nice and filled me up for the day!

Loved the warm pool and the workout room with free weights! Also, the lobby was a cozy spot to relax.

I thoroughly enjoyed my four-night stay in an accessible room. The staff went above and beyond, helping me with an ice scraper during the cold mornings. The breakfast may be minimal, but the warm hospitality made it worthwhile! Pro tip, arrive early for quieter breakfast hours.

This was a good match for shopping in Ankeny with great value-to-price ratio. The front desk staff was really friendly when I checked in, which was nice. Consider asking for an ice scraper in the morning if needed.
